The Kalāvāṇī Festival is a month-long celebration of the launch of the Indian Classical Music Society of Vancouver’s education branch - Kalāvāṇī Institute. With an aim to provide an interdisciplinary and accessible approach to pedagogy, the festival seeks to introduce the institute to the Greater Vancouver community through professional development, educational, and artistic initiatives.
This initiative is supported by CreativeBC and the City of Vancouver's Vancouver Music Fund Industry Catalyst Program. We are extremely thankful as their funding has enabled us to provide all programming at no charge to the public. We are also thankful to Gandharva Loka Vancouver for their kind sponsorship in supporting this festival.
