Listen to rāgas unravel in a play of light and shade with some of the most reputed names in the world of Hindustānī classical music at Chiaroscuro: A Double-Bill Concert of Sitar & Sarod. The evening begins with the cerebral and emotive artistry of sarod maestro Arnab Chakrabarty, joined by the virtuosic tabla and jodi exponent Sukhvinder Singh 'Pinky'. In the second half, sitar doyen Budhaditya Mukherjee, revered worldwide for his extraordinary command of his instrument and evocative expositions, takes the stage along with his longtime collaborator Soumen Nandy, whose sensitive tabla accompaniment complements every shade of the performance. Two generations of instrument mastery, striking musical architecture, and profound creativity come together on one stage for this rare, one-of-a-kind experience.
